I just noticed, that I haven't posted in a few days so here's a quick update on the Big Draw:

Oct. 20th: Hiro Nakamura from Heroes -
Still with the time travel motif

Oct. 21st: Tara McLay from Buffy -
Not so happy with the outcome, but I didnÄt want to do Marty McFly and I love that character

Oct.  22nd: Jakob from RL :-)
The now 2 weeks old son of my best friend

Oct. 23rd: Two girls from RL
A pupil asked me to try her and her best mate from a photo

Oct. 24th: The Lord of stories, Morpheus after a photo of the fantabulous Mr. G.
Bought Absolute Sandman Vol II today, I couldn't help it.

Seems even if I'm not drawing Who I'm still keeping the general direction.

Today I drew Admiral Albert "Al" Calavicci (as portrayed by Dean Stockwell).

I always thought that Sam and Al were the perfect TimeTravellingTeam outside Great Britain.

Btw did anyone see that Enterprise episode in which Dean Stockwell guest stared?
Everytime I see it and the 2 actors are toether in the same room I wait for the alien (Stockwell) to drop his act and say "I don't know how this could happen Sam, but we WILL get you out of this messed up leap"

Also I want QL/Jenny crossovers, preferably one in which Al can't get her (not for lack of trying) but she has some hot femslash action with Sam's daughter Sammy Jo. It could be placed pre-series and Jenny somehow helps kickstarting project Qauntum leap. Has to be tangled timelines, because pre-series there never was a Sammy Jo and post-series Al never was a skirtchaser, but I'm pretty sure some talented fanfic writer can get around that ;-)

After preparing A&A's new house for wallpapering for hours and preparing for the ferret's birthday party I was totally unmotivated and tired (before the party even started).

Still managed to do my daily picture: Liz Shaw (who is way more cool than Jo in my opinion, take that average fangirl :P)

Other News: We took Jakob down to the river Rhine for the first time :-)

I visited Jakob (and parents) today. Everyone is happy but a bit tired :)

Considering the Big Draw: Nickolas Grace is a thankful object of art.

Today I tried Friar Tuch - still not sure what to think :(

Didn't do a pencil portrait of a Doctor today because I was too lazy (and because Ten is the only one left and I don't especially like Ten)

On the other hand we had pumpkin soup for dinner and we prepared the rest of the pumpkin for Halloween, so I drew a Chibi!Rose and Chibi!Ten with there freshly carved Jack'o'lantern pumpkin to fulfill my task for today.

Sylvester is even more difficult than Paul has been.

So difficult in fact that I did a whole second attempt because I was so disappointed with myself.

The second one did turn out better but not good :(

Anyway today was my first day of a long weekend efore the new job and I celebrated by sleeping in and then having a creativity day with some friends.

TodaxI not only produced two Sylvestery but also decorated two shopping bags,designed a card for a birthday this Saturday and produced two pictures one in chalk and one in felttip pen and acrylic paint, so yay for me :)

And in the evening me and my roomies began to watch the second story-arch of Trial of the Timelords.

All I say is Brian Blessed makes Cpt Jack Sparrow seem like he doesn't wear any make-up ;)

Today I was so busy I almost forgot to draw - almost :-)

Today I was early with my picture. Well I had to be since I'm going to get up a quarter to 5 a.m. tomorrow morning, so not much choice. Scanning like always as soon as possible.

Well I decided to define a day as my period of being awake so todays *cough cough* picture was the gorgeuos Romana the first as played by Mary Tamm.

RL: I will get a new job :) Half the pay but only a quarter the work so yay for me :)
Can't seem to stop typing smilies :)

Today: Worked with Eike to get him through his math test he needs to continue his studies at the university. God how I love math.
Spent the rest of the day with some friends playing games (Descend anyone?)

So all in all: Life is good :)

P.S. Am I the only one whose lj-cuts won't work at the moment?

Today I kind of cheated. It was a quarter past midnight, when I finished Tom Baker (or at least my attempt at drawing him).

I almost forgot that I wanted to make October my picture painting month, so I had to do my first piece in under an hour :(

But I intend to do draw or paint one picture each day at least.

Nazir (Mark Ryan) was finished in about 20 minutes but didn't turn out bad. I already did Robin (Michal Praed) and Scarlet (Ray Winstone) sometime last month, but there are enough Merries left to last as inspiration for a couple of days more :)

I will scan asap to share my treasures with you :)
